Report
Booklet
As
a contract worker for an agency that deals with a variety of clients,
some assignments are going to be more interesting then others. I
ended up in Evanston right after the blizzard of 1998 at Rotary
International. This booklet was one of many published at year end
and distributed globally in a number of languages to its members.
The
format of the booklet was 9"x12" with fan-fold, and saddle
stitch binding. A pale yellow 50 lb. coverstock was used.

School Year Booklet
An
associate had a school that was in need of a school booklet in a
limited timeframe. Being that the organization was not-for-profit,
the budget was tight but manageable. I had complete creative freedom
which was great. One of the patrons provided snapshots from the
last school year that made the job easier as well as adding a personal
touch.
The
format of the booklet was on letter sized stock with fan-fold, and
saddle stitch binding. A buff 50 lb. coverstock was used and was
well received.

Training
Product Logo
This
training logo for an important product rollout borrowed on the old-fashioned
Santa Fe diesel locomotive color theme to provide the desired connection.
The objective was to create a unique image that was easily identifiable
with both the "DSL" internet product and association with
"speed." Click image for larger sample. |

Salsa
Label
I
have made a number of salsa labels over the years for myself. All
in a attempt to 'give fair warning' to friends and the curious alike
as to how HOT my home made salsa is.
This
was one of the more fun efforts in an attempt at a period piece.
I have always had an interest in the second world war, and this
particular rendering was a 'homage' to the infamous S.B.D. dive
bomber that served so well in the Pacific theater- particularly
in the battle of Coral Sea. Click image for larger sample. |

Audio
Tape Label
This
was Blue Noise' first production effort. Done on all home analog
equipment in a bedroom studio, the tape itself received mixed reviews,
but ultimately never got any airplay. Still the effort was a big
step from previous efforts. And of course, the cover design helped
spark curiosity if nothing else.Click image for larger sample. |
