A friend recently was in need of a site quickly constructed due to an unexpected business need. It was for a Cosmetics supply site as well as two other unrelated, but available services. I spent about a week trading e-mails with them about what specific elements they needed on the site, and set about the actual work on one Saturday.

The original request was for a simple site that conveyed the desired message to established and prospective clients alike. The challenge for this project was to establish a brand identity that was unique for each of the three services offered by this client while not trotting on established copyrighted material. This page has the focus on selling & distribution of Avon products. The best bet was to just put a link to the official Avon site as well as an e-mail link to this client. Goal was to try and establish a local contact as adding value as well as personal assistance (not to mention free delivery). I wanted to add a feminine element without getting into clichés. The pink comes close to that, but I also added a light pattern that reinforced the "LMLT" identity. After tossing around some ideas I decided to keep the sites separate and distinct (less the banner ad cross-references on the medical transcription & PC services).
